It works best if you use a stainless steel sink or bowl but it can still splatter everywhere. I covered my work surface in as many old towels as I could find. Anyway, I'm willing to try again. :)Ellie C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07941391725199833504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3406468484736790896.post-6606852027794242622013-07-10T09:48:08.008-04:002013-07-10T09:48:08.008-04:00well thank you, my mom said the same thing! Honestly, i like it better than the one from the tutorial you were following :P but obviously, it doesn't have the white like you wanted.Kallistehttp://lazily.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3406468484736790896.post-9762053545007628192013-06-27T22:44:05.359-04:002013-06-27T22:44:05.359-04:00Huh! Dye and I don't get along well... plus I'd be in fear of accidentally getting it ALL over my (rather small) apartment through a mishap or another. That's such a bummer that your dye bled, though! It's a cool idea.Mandahttp://breakthesky.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3406468484736790896.post-33668415593246287212013-06-27T19:00:10.148-04:002013-06-27T19:00:10.148-04:00haha well nevermind then! I started on a Sunday afternoon and then didn't have time to mess with it again til the next weekend. The plastic bag is a really good idea! Never hurts to try. :)Ellie C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07941391725199833504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3406468484736790896.post-61855202669926162092013-06-27T14:38:48.780-04:002013-06-27T14:38:48.780-04:00I am HIGHLY inexperienced with tshirt dying but I ...I am HIGHLY inexperienced with tshirt dying but I heard to let the dye set over 12+ hrs before you rinse it. If you're not dying the whole shirt maybe you could put the bottom of the shirt in a walmart bag & tie it off at the white so it won't drip? Then rinse in cold water. Just a thought. Once again I really don't know what i'm talking about but thought maybe it'd help haha Jabraundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10992480361769698235noreply@blogger.com
